Tool Numbering has been redefined to avoid complications with tool number adjustments and make the workflow easier to use.
The Tool Tree is your one-stop shop for everything tool related. Once you’ve created your jobs in the CAM Tree, open the Tool Tree to see all your jobs, the tools in their tool crib, and which operations are assigned to each tool!
The Operations Tree replaces the old Machining Order Dialog. The Operations Tree is now an additional Window in BobCAD. It offers the same functionality as the old dialog plus more!
The Select Layer dialog has been updated to the Select Layer(s) dialog to provide all layer information, sorting options, and the ability to select multiple layers for the first time!
In this latest release, you can easily duplicate individual faces without needing to modify the existing model. In the past, copying faces meant modifying the original model and stitching it back together when you were done, or using a copy you could unstitch completely so all but the target faces could be deleted.
A new section called Scope has been added to the Extrude Boss, Extrude Cut, and Advanced Holes functions, with options allowing you to specify which existing solid bodies the feature should interact with.
Now, when you need to modify an entity, simply enter selection mode and double-click it! The modify dialog opens as it normally would and you can modify entities just as you have in the past, but with the Modification Doodad you can do much more.
