Modal Values
Modal values do not need to be repeated whereas if modality is set to no, the codes will repeat on every line. |
Example: "Non-modal" codes effect only the lines on which they occur. For example, G4 (dwell) is commonly non-modal.
Example: "Modal" mode stays active until some other command changes it for example, G41 (Comp Left) is commonly modal.
